In 2020, I accepted my role as President Elect and became the director of communications. As President I now co-chair this committee, overseeing it’s development and communication plans. In additional to my involvement with Communications, I currently lead an Executive Board of 10 Directors and 5 working committees.
In this position I became a CORE asset to FEMA Region 6. In addition to my previous duties as Digital Communications Specialist (see below), I provided digital support to multiple disasters simultaneously. In this role I was both physically and virtually deployed to assist Hurricane Harvey, Arkansas Floods and Texas Severe Storms and Flooding.

Creativity has always been a passion of mine, from music and dance to film and production. When I'm not creating content, I'm likely studying it. Ninety percent of time you can catch me taking photos, mostly of food. In my free time I enjoy traveling and visiting the newest restaurants in town.
I'm a birth photographer with an affection for storytelling. In addition to documenting motherhood, I love capturing moments of activism and other community events. Though I enjoy portraits, there is nothing like capturing organic energy in a moment.
I'm an intersectional feminist dedicated to uplofting the Black community. The ideal partnership for me would be a company that has a true culture of inclusion, valuing the voices and efforts of marginalized communities.
